Old Printify mockups aren't being removed

This depends on which tool you're using.

If you used Import Designs, then Mockup Generation: Import Designs first creates your product in Printify and Shopify using Printify's default mockups. If you then use Mockup Generation to replace them with your own, make sure you check the "Delete old Printify mockups" option before publishing — otherwise the old Printify images will stay alongside your new ones. The system detects Printify-generated images by their filename pattern, so images uploaded manually (not by Printify) won't be detected or removed this way.

If you used the Designs tool: This isn't something you'll run into. Printify's default mockups will still appear on the Printify side, as they always do — but Designs automatically replaces them with your own mockups on Shopify as part of its single pipeline, so you'll never see Printify's defaults there. There's no separate step or setting to remember.
